Louis W. Kruger
Louis has been with the firm since 1992, first as an articled clerk and then in 1997 taking over as senior audit manager.
Over the last 21 years he has obtained a vast knowledge and experience in the profession. Louis is a member of the South African lnstitute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and is registered with the lndependent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) as a Registered Auditor. He is also a registered tax practitioner.
He has experience in the following fields:
- Accounting for individuals, partnerships, close corporations and companies, trusts and estates.
- Auditing – independent review, statutory and special assignments.
- Taxation – PAYE, VAT, SDL, UlF, lncome Tax both individuals and companies.
- Computer – setting up of accounting systems. – Regional lndustrial Development incentives.
- Duty credit certificate scheme
Louis attends the relevant continuing professional development courses each year to keep abreast of new developments and to comply with the CPD requirements of SAICA and IRBA.
Trevor J. Fouche
Trevor joined the firm in 2005, following a nineteen year stint in industry with the steel manufacturer lscor, now part of the international Mittal Steel group, where he specialised in the internal audit field, ultimately as Divisional Manager of its Long Steel Products audit group. He is a graduate of the University of Natal, where he obtained a B Com Degree and the Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy. After serving articles with a small practice in Durban, he passed the final qualifying examination and qualified as a chartered accountant and spent the next five years with the international accounting firm Deloitte. He also completed the Tax Law Program offered by the University of South Africa.

His professional experience includes:
- Auditing, independent review and reporting on the financial statements of a variety of business entities.
- Accounting for a range of enterprises, including companies, close corporations, individuals and trusts
- Personal and company taxation, including tax consulting and tax compliance work.
- lnternal auditing, including various aspects of corporate governance and risk management, in addition to control assessment and evaluation.
- Business valuations.
His current professional specialisations include:
- Assurance engagements (audits and independent reviews).
- lnternational Financial Reporting Standards and lnternational Financial Reporting for Small and Medium-sized Entities.
- Annual financial statement compilation.
- Valuation of business interests and financial instruments.
- Biological asset accounting, disclosure and taxation for agricultural, livestock and forestry operations.
